DISCLAIMER: BE SURE TO READ EVERYTHING BEFORE DECIDING WHAT TO CRAFT.

This build is a Queensguard and Discard hybrid with a ton of combos.

Hope you enjoy the deck and please leave your suggestions to improve!

I'm really excited to share this gameplay: 【#Gwent】Discard Queensguard - HD 1080p Gameplay: No Commentary from a fellow gwent player and youtuber MedievalHistory

Please go see the video if you want a taste of the deck and support his channel so he can bring more content and cool decks for you guys to see.

UPDATE 4:

Changed the build in the "Currently Playing section" and I'll also take this time to clarify that for those of you wanting to decide what to craft you should play the highlighted version of the deck first or if for some reason you have the cards in my other builds and don't want to craft anything or just want to play the different builds by all means go for it. The deck isn't perfect and I always switch things depending on my match-ups and I encourage everyone to also do the same. I have taken into considerations various tips from the community and that's the best part about building a deck like this, the constant tweaking and back and forth discussion with those that also love the game and want to improve the deck. Not every change is great for everyone but let's always keep an open mind :D

UPDATE 3:

The deck has finally reached 4000+ MMR with my latest changes! (you can consult the build I'm currently running in the deck iterations section if you are interested)

UPDATE 2: Some times going back is ok!

As of the 1st update and after reading your feedback I understood that the second build wasn't the most favorable for everyone. Even though for me it was easier to play with it and manage all the resources I failed to understand that maybe not everyone can extract the same value from the updated build so I decided to highlight the previous version and from now on every improvement I make to the deck will be highlighted in the description as to not force my changes to the general audience.

I will also try to make a guide for each iteration of the deck for those interested in a specific build.

UPDATE 1: We reached 3900 MMR boys and gals!

After some hard time facing monsters I decided to change things and make the deck a bit better when it comes to playing from behind. I decided not to add most of the counters people run against monsters like Mardroeme or Lacerate because after trying them I thought the deck lost it's steam because I had to exchange strength with situational cards.

That said I hope you enjoy the changes! :D

Card Combos

v1.5 Guide

Use King Bran to cycle your Queensguard from your deck or a combination of Queensguard  + Cerys if you don't pull the Johnny/card] + [card]Cerys combo in your starting hand.

After having atleast 2 Queensguard in your graveyard and if you have Draig Bon–Dhu in hand buff them and if you happen to be in a position where you can res him try not to set the Queensguard so that only 1 of them can get him by Scorch effects or Geralt: Igni.

Try to combo Clan an Craite Raider with both Ermion and Svanrige to maximize their value and sometimes you might have to use [card]Johnny/card] in one of them to get their value.

Weather as started to crawl onto the higher ranks of the ladder so Gremist for a Clear Skies is here to counter weather in that specific match-up but can also provide a 11 strenght body if needed.

v2.0 Guide

Use King Bran to cycle your Queensguard from your deck and this will be your go to opening.

After having atleast 2 Queensguard in your graveyard and if you have Draig Bon–Dhu in hand buff them and if you happen to be in a position where you can res him try not to set the Queensguard so that only 1 of them can get him by Scorch effects or Geralt: Igni.

Try to combo Clan an Craite Raider with both Ermion and Madman Lugos to maximize their value.

Weather as tarted to crawl onto the higher ranks of the ladder but since it isn't the norm yet I swapped out Gremist for a Clear Skies as the main source to counter weather in that specific match-up but will also be a very useful asset for cycling through our deck.

On the topic of cycling the new iteration of the deck adds The Last Wish, Alzur's Double-Cross and Marching Orders to further help deck cycling and blacklisting.

General Guide

Mulligan v1.5:

Always blacklist 3 Queensguard if you have the Johnny/card] + [card]Cerys combo in your starting hand.

Try to (if possible) keep only 1 Clan Dimun Pirate in hand.

If you can keep 1 Clan Dimun Pirate Captain after blacklisting the previous cards you'll have a great swing if the round goes long.

Only keep Clan an Craite Raider in hand if you can't do anything about it or you can combo them with a discard effect.

Mulligan v2.0:

Always blacklist 3 Queensguard if you have either a Priestess of Freya or a Marching Orders in your starting hand.

Keep only 1 Priestess of Freya if you also have Marching Orders but if you don't wanna risk mulligan a 2nd it is fine to keep both. (it will vary according to the rest of your hand)

Try to (if possible) keep only 1 Clan Dimun Pirate in hand.

If you can keep 1 Clan Dimun Pirate Captain after blacklisting the previous cards you'll have a great swing if the round goes long. Alzur's Double-Cross will most likely hit one of the remaining 2 in your deck.

Only keep Clan an Craite Raider in hand if you can't do anything about it or you can combo (in perfect scenarios) 2 of them with Ermion.

1st Round:

You want to cycle as much of your deck as you can always being wary of card advantage and you can try and win it but never feel the need to overextend. Most of the time Clan Dimun Pirate Captain will give you what you need to either close round 1 or later on in the game to usually have your opponent trading 2 cards to match his power.

Card Replacements

As of now I don't have exact replacements for either a more budget build or cards that can do a good job in the place of other but I'm counting on any of you that play the deck and can leave some ideas in the comment section!
