    That's a tricky one I'm afraid. ;)

    She allows you to inflict 4 points of damage to ANY unit - gold included. In some cases that kind of ability is huge, as you are able to reduce the strength of a unit, that can not be harmed in any conventional way (lets not complicate things with Dimeritium Bomb and Dimeritium Shackles). 

    Now here comes the "however" part: her ability will be changed in the upcoming patch, as you will no longer be able to damage gold units.

    So if you ask whether she is worth crafting now - I would say "not really". Was she valuable in the past? The answer is "Yes she was".

    If you compare raw base strength then you are correct - 12 will always beat 9. 

    However the way Ciri: Dash works requires you to build a specific type of deck as you aim to play her more than once. Let's analyze the following example:

    • R1 - play Geralt for 12 str. and Ciri for 9 str. At the end of the turn she is moved to your graveyard, then she is randomly placed in your deck. Her strength is then increased from 9 to 12.
    • R2 - draw Ciri and play her again for 12 str. The same thing happen, and her strength is increased from 12 to 15
    • R3 - draw Ciri and play her again for 15 str. 

    You can now see, that over the course of 3 rounds Geralt gained you 12 points of str. while Ciri gave you a total value of 36 points of str (9 + 12 + 15). That is the basic difference.

    Please note, that her ability also triggers when she is discarded. Even though you are not gaining the value from play you still increase her base strength. That is the way every SK discard deck works:

    Note, that if you manage to put all the other cards in your graveyard Ciri will remain the only card to be drawn.

    • total amount of cards: from 25 to 40
    • gold cards: up to 4 (max 1 copy of each card)
    • silver cards: up to 6 (max 1 copy of each card)
    • bronze cards: max 3 copies of each card

    Operator is a tricky card to begin with. What you want to do is to make sure you copy a card that works well with your deck, but does not benefit your opponent. Don't pay attention on STR of the unit you copy, as this will be nullified. 

    A good example of Operator play would be to copy Margarita Laux–Antille in Henselt-promote decks. Another example would be to copy Barclay Els in ST dwarf themed deck.

    It is also worth to mention the old "Drowner" or "Vran" cards that some of us remember from previous patches. They were place holders that received a massive updates. I think it is safe to assume, that cards you listed will be aligned as well.

    I think we need to go for the generic answer which is - "Let's wait and see as we are still in Closed Beta".

    Few things to keep in mind:

    • PS4 beta yet to be announced
    • Play anywhere (XO + PC) yet to be introduced

    With the two above in mind I would expect, the way leaderboard is organized, to change few more times.

    Those are two separate things - the cross-platform thingy you have in the settings menu works for casual games only. The moment you decide to jump into ranked matches requires you to chose where you want to be:

    • XO leaderboard
    • Cross-platform leaderboard

    I regret joining XO only... Due to low population, matchmaking takes 10-15 minutes to find an opponent. What hurts even more is winning 80-90% and not being able to climb. I lose more points from lost games than I earn from wins.... I understand that winning a match with someone who is a few ranks below me should not boost me up - no doubt about that. The question is - what should I do when I'm already on the top of the ladder with 3000-3200 mmr? Used to be 5th... winning 6 games in the row granted me 20 points. Right now I'm on a losing streak and each game puts me like 60 points behind. Feels kinda pointless...

    This match-up is not that bad. Just keep in mind the following:

    • The longer round 1 takes, the more tempo Dorfs get. That is why Crones are your best friends in the match-up. It is crucial for you NOT to draw 2 of them in the opening hand. Keep that in mind when you get into 3rd re-draw and none of your Crone is black listed.  
    • Hawker Smuggler may look as a priority target but he is not. Focus on Mahakam Defenders and Hawker Healers (see below)
    • The goal of Dorfs deck is to win round 1 and transfer some of the board strength to round 2 and 3 with a help of Mahakam Defenders. That is why you aim to remove them from play as soon as they hit the board. That usually means you have to use Alzur's Thunder on 4 str unit. If you don't have any in your deck... then you probably need to add one. 
    • Lacerate can provide you with a massive swing ifyou wait long enough. You may however want to use it, to remove those pesky Hawker Healers to prevent Eithné bounce. 
    • ST will always have a card advantage. Do not over commit just to win the first round. 
    • Be aware how your passive works. Play every card to make sure your investment will benefit you round 2 and 3. 
    • Dorfs are running not 3 but 4 First Lights so do not think that you can frost-win the round easily. 
    • Dimeritium Bomb can win you the game.

    If you're into Skellige you will definitely need Sigrdrifa and/or Restore. the best would be to swap Jutta an Dimun for one of those. Once you get one of the above you should think about Birna Bran

    As for the deck itself - think about removing Clan Brokvar Archer. Not sure they synergize well here. 

    Clan Dimun Pirate is a solid choice for each discard deck. Have you tried them?

    As far as I recall RNR is the only card that spawns 3 weather effects at once. You can't play it again with Renew as it's not a unit. I would say that you must have missed a sneaky Johnny play.

    That wont hurt much as those are relatively cheap. A good practice is to mill those artworks, you know you will not use (or to keep one of each).

    However, I can't guarantee you, that we won't see a patch saying "different units with different artworks will have different abilities".

    Those are not useless. Card advantage is not the only way of using this ability. Sometimes you want to be first (or second) despite the result of previous round

    Legendary drop in this game is kinda balanced- if you got one legend out of 70 kegs... Than you were REALY unlucky ;(  I got up to 3 legends in one keg many times (only could choose one unfortunately) but keep in mind that after Beta Wipe you will receive all of those kegs bought with real currency once again. Also try not to discard valuables cards at first- you need to get to know your prefences
     I think that's exactly what he was trying to say - got one legend he picked out of 3.

    Aglaïs is one of the strongest (if not the strongest) Scoiatael card so congratulations on this one. As for the overall result (1 legendary out of 70 kegs) well... it could be better. Luckily you will get plenty of free kegs daily so you'll get all cards you need really quick.

    Some of those concerns have been already addressed. We've been told that there is a plan to deliver:

    • At least two new leaders for each faction.
    • 20 new cards at the beginning of each competitive season.
    • There are currently more than 200 cards. By the time the game is officially released it is expected to have more than 400 and reach 500 by the end of 2017.

    She suppose to work with Commando Neophytes, but she doesn't seem to do well in cheap decks. You would probably need to pair her with Ele'yas and Isengrim  - 800 scraps each and she would still be worse than Roach.

    At some point of a time you'll have them all - don't worry about that too much. In addition to that you have to keep in mind that things tend to change during beta. Legendary card you pick today may work in a different way next week. 

    Saskia was used in 33.86% of Scoia'tael decks published on GwentDB in the past 30 days. 
    Villentretenmerth used in 9.60% of all decks (with ST being second faction)

    So yes, you can use both of them in ST decks. ;)

    I have mixed feeling when I earn 10 points for winning 5 games in a row, only to lose 60 points when someone beats me. It probably means, that I reached my skill cap and my current rank reflects it. Do I want to get from rank 13 to rank 15? Of course! Am I good enough? I do not know - that's why I keep playing and trying. 

    I use one or two deck archetypes for most of the time, but I tweak them to keep up with meta changes. Maybe I'm too optimistic... maybe I simple refuse to accept things other people complain about... but I don't think the game is boring.

    The reason people play just a few decks is that those decks are consistent - simple as that.

    Increasing the minimum amount of cards required, will have the opposite effect in my opinion. Number of decks will decrease even further and you will not see any deck lists without some serious thinning/digging mechanism.

    Bran + Mork seems to be very popular those days and Mork is the staple card of this deck, so he can't be replaced. 

    Yen would still be a better choice if your card pool is not that big. You will most likely find a good spot for her in case people start to tech against Meta-Mork.

    In terms of flexibility I would say it's Yen > Mork > Keira. 

    But it really depends on your preferences. If you're a die hard SK fan, then Mork may be the way to go there.

    Despite the fact that I jumped into Radovid-hype-train, I'm not a huge NR fan, so I can't make valid and up to date recommendations for you. There are some key units however, that you want to have in your card collection like: Field MedicReaver Scout or Temerian Foot Soldier

    Keep in mind that you'll also need plenty of neutral cards for your decks to work like First LightLacerate ect. Those are pretty cheap but there are some legendaries (also neutral) that work exceptionally good with NR like Roach or King of Beggars. Frankly speaking they work miracles in almost every deck... but in addition to those you've got a long list of cards like VillentretenmerthGeralt: IgniOcvistMyrgtabrakkeAeromancyDecoy, ect. You'll need them all at some point of a time.

    Hello and welcome to the forums!

    You should be able to keep up with all free kegs you earn on daily basis. That is also the reason you should wait a bit with exchanging scraps for cards to avoid getting duplicates at early stage of your Gwent experience (happened to me quite a few times already). Try to check out some of the NR decks we have here on GentDB to see what may fits you. 

    As for the recommendations... well if you're into NR then you will probably need Priscilla (200 scraps) and Prince Stennis (80 scraps). Most of decks are running those, as they help you with deck thinning and card advantage. 

    Even though Shani is not auto-include anymore, she is still played a lot - good for you. You may want to pick up Yennefer: The Conjurer (200 scraps). She's neutral, but in the same time she is one of the most used golds those days. 

    Not sure about Ciri though... I mean... she's a great cards which gives you up to 16 points of str and a card advantage. Unfortunately we're in heavy Radovid meta now. So you may find Ciri difficult to use.

    It's not that complicated really :)

    1. Vrihedd Sappers remove str when a Special Card is PLAYED - means they trigger as soon as the Special Card hits the board, but just before card's text is taken into account.

    2. Prize-Winning Cow's ability is triggered when the card is removed from board. Cards are removed after you finish with all your actions (including those from special cards ect.). So even though you spanked that cow two times (2 dmg each) it remained on board.

    i can handle most decks but Skellige ones are the hardest . they are very strong. 

     You're probably referring to a wounding deck archetype. This deck does not run Quenies.

    FL feels weird now. Weather on the other hand has been changed as well as weather affected units "remember" their buffed value.

    As for the GAard - he's now more balanced than ever. Especially with introduction of "weather immunity" which is not defined by the row (frost, fog, rain).
