posted a message on What should I craft?

youre still far from most of them, i would wait until having 2000 scraps, then craft one full or almost full deck.

partial decks offer partial results, and can give you a wrong feeling of the deck fun or performance

posted a message on Geralt: Igni should be reworked.

igni was too powerful in the past, there was a reason to be nerfed. even today its a powerful card, and thats okey, if your oponents keep under the threshold is because theyre playing wisely.

Agree on that, or provide more cards to cancel weather effects, the meta will talk by itself

not that i know, the card has rested on my collection taking dust :D, I think there was a few nice ones when spawned units were affected by the guy. Even without weather condition, dropping dandelion on the the board is insta-removal

ouch, dont agree with that nerf.

milva is the kind of powerful card you need to know how and when to play, its not brainless like bloody baron, coral, or geralt igni. in fact its power is actually its only advantage.thanks to this change , milva is pretty much useles, because the oponent card you return to hand must have an enormous value (its easier to just use scorch or other removals)

man this is nothing new, its just like milva on last turn of your opponent has passed, he will eat his most powerful card out of the board. i think even milva has more potential, cahir allows you to play your hero power again (voorhis usually), but if milva removes a guy with 15 ST its very difficult for cahir to equal its effect. And , to play it, you need to set the sequence, not an easy thing.

posted a message on Blueboy Lugos needs a nerf/change ASAP

An epic card with a very big value, just itself is capable of get 20-30 value without many problem. Add harald and bam, another skellige deadly combo. Before at least the effect lasted 3 or 4 turns.

Its sad that harald escalates so quick, maybe a slight nerf to the whale would be enough, but we cant nerf the whole faction card by card

    Harald is the issue

harald punishes a proactive developing strategy, the more guys you have, the more damage you suffer, combined with yeni and octvist or a simple tremors literally destroy your turn. that means he will always win at least one round just beause his hero power (no other faction has this kind of feature). then add the usual turn 3 sk superpowered and sirgdrifa, and youre done.

my guess is that this guy hero power should be more like 1 and 2 to wounded, or even switch it to something like yeni hability.

first light got severely nerfed, completely unnecesary on my opinion, and that was a huge buff for double weather cards

basically, you described geralt aard pretty well. Its poweful combined with a weather effect BUT

1 - It punishes players to overcommit to one single row, and that row is not siege. OTherwise, its golden trash (super OP if you make it work, super shit if you dont)

2 - It already got nerfed, not only on strengh, but weather inmunity makes weather inmune units to not being destroyed when trown into another row

3 - original geralt affected   A FULL ROW, this one i think it only affects three units, so its pretty poor for a golden effect

i dont play Cerys, but maybe nerfing her to 10 could have been better that returning back to 8 and maintaining the queenguards nerf

axeman are not really op, just a good card that escalates quickly on good conditions, however, its vulnerable to weather, scorches, thunders on early. locks, basically any form of removal.

the strategy to obliterate harald is simple. as soon as they deploy the axeman, thunder, vicovaro medic, technician to add resilience. its an autowin

from my own experience. Hotfixes can set somethings worse that before. Seems that theres no middle term with skellige. Or too powerful, or too weak (usually the second :P). what i dont understand is what could trigger a hotfix on CDPR to release this changes. They look pretty much in a hurry.

Too many monster decks today, no NR, no SC (well, one, but destroyed easily).

my thoughts are that the whole faction requires some redesign. In the very beggining they were really powerful to play, then they started to get hit patch by patch, they rendered this faction into a difficult situation. You can still win, but decks are not powerful anymore. The thing is, as soon as they give a little boost to skellige, the faction decks escalate very quickly, so if they cant find balance, they should revamp the whole mechanic.

If theres something I learnt form hearthstone, is that you dont fix desing issues printing cards to fix them.
