a few quick details:
- scoiatael elven cards need to be their force reduced, with the one which plays random to 2 or 1, and the commando to 2. so you play a random special card and get a couple of points, thats all.
-aglais or johny, one should be nerfed at least.
-skellige was literally destroyed last patch some cards should be re-buffed (not to previous state but something in the middle)
-monsters non weather control decks should need a bit of a buff, just a bit
-please, nerf PFI or maerdroeme

i have the feeling that johny can actually duplicate your own cards, i have also experienced double aglais playing against scoiatael, the play johny on turn 1 they get agalais, and they end drawing the second copy later. experienced it a few times.
also, noticed that my johny creates a copy of himself, with oponent playing foltest or decks with no johny , so my opinion is that tje criteria that card uses is a little weird.
Edit: apart of him dont know other ways of having double aglais, so keep your eyes open

i think no one is addressing the real problem on this case, this player should not normally be paired with higher level players. It annoys me because the developers say its not an error, its a feature ("its smart! keep losing, it will adjust itself," oh come on). This game has two critical issues at this point:
- The matchmaking, the honest truth, its beyond horrible, is the biggest crap i have ever seen in ages, it makes HS look balanced and well designed. I had the same issue like you dude, i was paired during weeks to scoiatael and radovids, and hell, even today i play nothing more than against scoiatael and radovids (Harald? whos that guy? Geels? that must be some russian cousin, Eredin? From the lord of the rings right?, Crach? urban legend, Bran, games of thrones huh? ) but at least i have decent decks to play against them.
This is not the right concept about a player progression. A player from level 1 should play against other level 1 players, and if he wins he will be matched against better MMA level 1 players, leaving upper level players only to last resort.
So yes, keep playing, but it shouldnt be that way.
The only good thing is that progressing is quick because you get lots of prizes (something i will not complain against because i think its fine), but its not the purpose.
- The disconnection issue: they keep disconnecting players again and again, and theres a complete silence form developers about this, no news at all.
If they really want to bring a better experience they need to make sure the matches are balanced and the system is reliable.

b) im quite critical with the development (last patch was horrible, since then i only face SC and Radovids or PFI), but i think theyre putting a substantial effort in not making the community toxic (yeah HS im looking at you).
Saying good game to your opponent is a good gesture, apart otf the "additional gift". Removing it would impact negatively in the player-player relationship. Solutions proposed here are not the only possible to be taken. I think removing the feature should be a last resort measure, and there are enough middle term solutions to consider to go radical.

well, you clearly have a point, but I dont support the way youre proposing to solve the issue.
a) I know a friend who is getting in the order of 500 gold and 300 scraps daily. Im completely sure hes appliying your described scheme, and while i dont really care, its not fair for the players that respect the system, and make a fair use of it, so yeah, solutions are necessary
b) i would def go for the ban solution, and even softer solutions for players who can try to softly work around the bans. If you forfeit in round one several (3-5 times) a day, you will not be able to receive any GG (but you still be able to give it) during the next 24 hours. Other solutions may include, to only activating the GG button if the match actually finishes (forfeiting one round before losing cancels your GG reward, but you can still give it if its your choice).
c) removing the GG button may be a solution BUT, on my opinion, its a well mannered gesture. It promotes less toxic communities (and Im someone who give only GG one of four times, I have strict rules about that, so for me, getting an automatic GG would be better), so its a nice attempt to make things better. Other games offer communication systems that in the end only promote trolling and toxicity.
Just as a detail, my rules:
- If you have a clearly worse deck than mine (no legendaries, basic decks), I always hit the button no matter the result (damn matchmaking)
- Equal deck, I always hit the button no matter the results EXCEPT if the opponent is Infantry+Maerdroeme.
- Opponents with 25 legendaries on deck (yeah im exagerating) never get a GG, its not their fault, its the matchmaking, unless they use never seen combinations and I like their decks.
- As exception, I never give GG to netdecked Scoiatel elven control and Radovids.

As a HS player, when I win because my Ragnaros hit the right target, i dont feel "skilled". I feel "lucky". When i lose because opponents barnes drop a Tyrion, i dont feel the oponent is skilled, hes just lucky, and I get really frustrated, so no, its not fun at all.
RNG in hs has one single purpose: to prevent good players, or players with powerful decks to win always against weaker decks, its so shameless that the marketing can be smell at kilometers of distance. Something like this
Blizzard big honcho: hey guys, we have a problem, our card design is so crappy, that we have lots of cards, but only three decks that are really powerful. Once a player have it, he will not be insterested in keeping investing money on this. And iis even worse, since we pair new players to OP players to hooko them to buy packs, newbies will lose interest when they only LOSE against the same op deck.
Ben Brode: dont worry, that will not happen because we have a new strategy. As the apex of crappy design, we will start printing cards that does "random" things. On most of the cases, this cards will be op (mad scientist, knife juggler, ragnaros, flamewaker, yogg saron, to name a few). No player, old or new will be able to ignore this cards, so at the end, everyplayer will have this cards, and it will be luck which will decide the matchs. The more expansions we publish, the more RNG we will introduce.
Blizzard big honcho: someone give a raise to this guy.
My opinion is that, when you dont know what to design, you design random things, RNG must be very limited, and very well designed in order to not bring that feeling to the game. And i can say that i love that on Gwent, because CDPR is more centered in creating balanced and fun sinergies rather than printin OP cards that do random things.
My kudos for them :D

i would suggest a "history" of the past turns, at the moment its non existant, and even worse, if you select an oponent played card you will not be able to get the card text.
The matchmaking on casual is awful. The past week I only got paired with Pay to Win monsters, with ultra legendary decks, this week, only newbies with basic decks. Not sure, but it would be nice to pair casual matches with decks with similar scraps value (unit power is useless to calculate the real potential of a deck). If you build a basic deck with no legendaries, you should get paired (at least initially) with other cheap decks, which makes balanced games.
Then, well, the interface is still filled with flaws, but its out of the scope of this thread.

Well from my own experience playing monsters, 3 foglets are actually investing too much in auto-screwing your own faction power (in fact, its awesome to get +6 just for deploying fog, think about something similar could be roach, and its a legendary). The problem of the foglets, is that you need at least another 3 non gold minions to balance to 50%. with a configuration like this, its very likely to get a few consecutive bad rounds, which can be pretty frustrating (I removed the foglets from my deck exactly because of this). However, in long rounds where i have like 10-12 minions on the board, I usually dont get the foglets (I recorded a few days of games). However, I noticed, this is not the usual, and thats why most of the times, im on the first case, and the foglets are likely to get selected.
At the end, they are a risky choice, you must consider if invalidating your faction power is worth for 6 tempo-swinging points

First of all, I already read the FAQ, thanks.
Second, dont get me wrong, this is a BETA and we all have to be consequent with it. If they remove a card because its too powerful, i dont claim anything, its a beta. If they change ord adjust or nerf card stats, I dont claim anything, its a beta. If they change rules, its alright, its a beta. Even wiping is on the possible facts, and thats something I would respect, but not an action I would support. You speak from your esperience as I do speak from mine.
I never played HS closed beta. I came when they released the game, and spend like 300 EUR until the Grand Tournament. If i have played the beta, and I see one day they remove my 5 humble legendaries to give nothing (like they did), my total money spent on HS would have been 0 EUR, nothing.
The answer to the main post on my opinion is simple: nobody knows, unless you have the phone number of CDPR big honcho, anything else is just theory.
What im trying to say is that, a wipe is something that we could expect from Blizzard, but maybe not from CDPR. If those guys are smart, and they need to do some "reset", they will have to find a balanced way to do it without harming their playerbase (there are millions of ways of doing this, last post is one, dusting all cards to all players, and giving kegs bought with real money is another, so P2W players have the dust, and the kegs, there are hundreds of combinations). Apart of that, its their game, and they have the right to wipe, as I have the right to spend 0 as consequence.

Yeah, CDP, wipe everything, punish your F2P beta players (which are the vast mayority, and im ready to spend real money on this game, as I did with HS, but only if I find there are fair terms) by reducing their modest collection to a premium geralt (which by the way its nothing exclusive and actually its a crappy card).
Wipe its not only not necessary, since its healthy to have an all levels player base built on day 1, but heavily counterproduccent in terms of new beta relyabilities (if something like this happens, thanks CDP, dont count with me for another beta testing).
However, a reasonable action could be to re-stablish all kegs, no matter how where they bought (if you bought 40 kegs with real money, hey you will have 40 more kegs, thats already a substantial advantage).
About frustrating new players, this is not a wipe problem, its a matchmaking problem, new players should be paired to new players, but this is a big beta issue, the matchmaking really sucks (they claim its intelligent, I dont see the intelligence anywhere), i keep being paired to guys with millions of legendaries on their decks (i have some scattered legendaries, a decoy and a geralt igni, but nothing really sinergistic).
The only reason I see someone claiming for a wipe is: your bought kegs with money and you dont win. Praising for getting people collections wiped is not fair.
