Brief Summary of Build

The Fourth Row is an international, multi platform Gwent community; comprised of 4000mmr and above members. We work together to challenge the meta and become better players. We have an active chat on the LINE app where we theory craft and provide feedback to raise our rank on the ladder and play at the highest level in tournaments!

I'll write this guide implying you all know how to play a regular Machines Henselt, if not you can check Gwentleman guide for beginners.

Said that, I got the idea for this deck by Misogi and changed some cards to fit better in the current meta, I'm still unsure about Ves, everything else is very staple and working as intended up to top 500.

Card Combos

Decree + Golds: Not a proper combo but I wanted to explain this, since I myself don't exactly like having to run Decree but playing Villentretenmerth and Muzzle means you have no space for Natalis, which removes like 1/3 of the thinning, so it's not as likely as it used to be to get all golds out

Big Red Dragon + Machines: (Round 3 only) Line up Veterans/Protector/Nekkers(if they won't get more hellspawns up) and then wait 3 turns, take care not to kill Ves or Ronvid

Thaler+Cavalries: I like doing this in r3 in Natalis decks, but with this setup it's better to do it r1 so you can mulligan aggresively for golds later on, wait till they get to 21 points and then don't esitate to use it if you can overcome their points in 1 card (possibly without wasting Shani, but you can use Muzzle)

Alzur+Thaller (13 points means you have to be in -8 or more) Ronvid (carryover and crewman, this card is so good) Ves (only if you have cavalries in hand, otherwise wait till round 2 or 3 to do it)

General Guide

Winning r1 even is better than losing 2 cards up, unless they have carryover.

If you're first play reactively and try to find a way to use thaler into cavalries, then you either become second (Card advantage kind of inverts coinflip) or they pass and you win one card down, which is fine, but try to do this after you kill their carryover.

If you're second use henselt early to force a pass.

Drypass r2

In r3 you'll unleash the Big Red Dragon and have the opponent suck a bag of di...luents (?)

Two last things for those who read till here:

First of all thank you for listening to what some random dude has to say about this game and don't forget to upvote if you liked the guide, it really helps for visibility

And secondly use the comment section if you wanna give me tips, propose changes or whatever, maybe you just wanna tell me "u sux" feel free to do it ^^

And good luck Fams.

Card Replacements

You can't change to Golds

Ves for Deathmold, Myrgtabrakke or Trollololo (Jade Figurine bait, but make alzur worse)

Kaedweni Saergeant for Siege Supports, if you feel like you don't meet ST or NG which tend to eat them up (or anyone who want to muzzle them)

Ballistas for Reinforced Ballistas, just to compensate for small diluent.
