I rarely forfeit. Its just that even if i had a bad hand or bad move i still try to make something out of it. If i know im going to loose a game in round 3 no matter what i simply pass. I think its more polite than just to quit. Even so i hate that when i pass and the opponent has still some cards and takes his time to play them one by one, taking forever to choose the card to play or choosing a card to discard/ress/play like its the Challenger Final. Even if they know they already won.
Also you sometime still can turn the table. Happens all the time. And your opponent isn't immune to making stupid mistakes either.
And yeah, the other guy rubbing your face into a defeat is irksome. I forfeit then. Although still give GG. It seems like those guys don't have much joy in their lives anyway.
When you're in a good game - and i mean a close one by that. Where you actually think you can win. against nilfgaard of all factions (and i hate those). And the delivery guy rings the bell so you gotta forfeit.
I hope everyone who plays mill stubs their toe very painfully. Then they have to walk around with a limp all day and people will ask them what's wrong constantly, and they'll say "I stubbed my toe." They'll be given a pitying look, as if to say, "Wow, you're kind of pathetic." This will happen repeatedly throughout the day, one tiny humiliation after another.
I think that's about proportionate to the misery they cause by playing this game.
yesterday I climbed to 4400+ (Pos 182 or something like that). Then I started a very nice loosing strike. Losing a match and then thinking about lost mmr and trying to get the shit back. At the end of the day I am now at round about 4200+, out of top1000 for sure.
It would be better to do a break if you loosing some games in row <--- this is the conclusion of the day.
So Goodbye Grandmaster...I think I need a break, maybe retry on Saturday or just causual playing until end of the season I don't now...
This game is programmed to make me lose. 3 horrible matchups. I manage to win them. 4th game. 5 bricked cards drawn on start. Opponent runs hard counter that is rarely seen. In the end 2 golds and 3 silvers in last 6 cards. Guess who lost.
I think Spell Scoiatel need a buff and more removal, 6 thunders, Iorveth, and 3 Artifact compressions isn’t enough. They’re terrible at denying core bronze units from getting points. Not to mention buffing Protectors in the process...
6 consecutive games I've Nenneked 2 cards to make my remaining cards Stennis, Trolololo, and a mulliganned dumpster card. 6 consecutive games I've drawn the mulligan. .1% odds of that happening, but look at me now. Sometimes I wonder why I enjoy card games.
I hate spell scoiatael... I play brigade, thunder. I play enforcers, thunder. I play a big unit to tempo, artefact compression. 3 round and I face 4 bronzes with 20 points each. And I face this deck 6 times in 10 games!!
