1) Agreed that the hate cards are present enough, but in my version I run 3 NG Knights and Sarah which give me 4 targets for my handbuff. That being said, Vilentretenmerth will not be able to kill any of them for bringing back to hand. Scorch is viable, but if you know your opponent uses scorch, then use your spy so they can't use it against you they way they wanted to. The other decks have ability to ruin your big guys, but many of those decks tend to have low point value themselves, so you should still have the ability to work around them.
2) There is definitely a weakness turn, so you have to recognize this and use it in best interest. Honestly great for having red coin. Blue coin, can make things difficult, but lets say they pass on a NG Knight, well spy after and then play another knight they can't kill. If they don't pass, you pretty much just have to deal with the loss of a card, but you can pretty much always still win with higher point value if played correctly.
3) Agreed, you can't stop your opponent's game plan very easily, but you do have one kill card. Just have to use it in the right situation. Knowing what your opponent's plan is can still win out even if you can't stop their cards. You just have to play the turns better than they do.
Ultimately, its the player, not the deck in any situation (IMO). I'm mostly saying for ease of use, and for point potential, this is the best deck I've had to play with. I can't say its better than me playing my Francesca deck, but it is way easier to navigate through for how easy it is to win a match.
I very often stagger perfectly, hardest one is the spotters. But you can wyvern shield your other units as well for stagger-ability.
Igni is definitely great into the handboost deck, I just don't think the overall point value is as great. Also, if that is the case that Igni is the best option, maybe there is a way to work him into the NG handboost (though that seems unlikely considering how much you NEED to have Royal Decree/Vesemir/Leo Bonhart and getting rid of Triss just seems counterproductive considering she has the ability to help stagger with wyvern shield)
You can also use Peter aside from Leo for a reset on your opponent against Nekkers (using it on last round on the biggest boost) or other boosted cards. That can give you an extra option if needed.
Aside from all of that, the only decks I've actually had problems with are other NG decks because of their ability to copy my cards and reveal/conceal cards and drain cards. Haven't seen many this season though.
Anyway, thanks for the input, I enjoy discussing this.
