posted a message on how is coinflip considered a problem?

What they should do is make it so all resilient units only play after you play a card. Meaning if you Wardancer, Wardancer never hits the board unless you play another card that round. Morkvarg, Olgierd, ST, Northern, and MO resilient units the same. Ex. Round 2. Round 1 you played Olgierd and Morkvarg. They never hit the board in round 2 unless you play a card that round.

Shupe also needs to be nerfed. As now anyone who runs a Shupe deck effectively has two CA cards in their deck. People are abusing that hard this season. Im starting to think they should eliminate CA cards entirely from the game.

posted a message on Emhyr into Poet. What would happen?

Ive used a deck a little this season that ideally does this. Emhyr plays poet, poet draws card, you play another card then take a card off board to end turn.

Word to the wise: dont put Roach in deck when doing this. I drew Roach ("randomly") with Poet like 60% of the time.

The hate comes from people who dont have all day to get through dailies. The average mill match was like 3x as long as other matches.

Terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible idea. When it demoted, you faced Mill constantly and each game took 25+ minutes. It was horrible, even if you knew how to beat it.

I'd rather dive off a cliff than have to play through that garbage again.

If you think the game has been crap up to this point then piss off? What value do you add to your life by trolling boards for a game you hate? It adds literally nothing to the community.

posted a message on Pro Ladder

First, this has zero to do with elitism. It is dominantly logistics in relation to population size and cue times on pro ladder. And I agree with the above on how frustrating it would be for the majority to have no access to certain avatars, borders, titles, I was just thinking up incentives they could put on the pro ladder to keep us playing on that ladder.

I'd imagine CDPR would want the regular ladder as approachable as possible for new(er) players, and Pro's tend to be about the top 10% of the game population, so it would make sense for CDPR to not necessarily prefer us to be hanging around the regular ladder I'd think. And yeah, I play reg ladder as well as pro, but one of the biggest issues is often que time on pro ladder. You guys just summed it up- most of you are on pro ladder, but play mostly reg ladder. Doesnt that seem like a bit of a fail in terms of pro ladder not giving its players enough incentive to play up there beyond the top 8?

I keep my spot up there just because, honestly, and I've also been bare minimum rank 20 the past 4 seasons since I've been on pro. I just think CDPR should consider giving keg rewards and at least the same borders, avatars, and titles they do on reg. ladder, and letting us get through daily rewards on pro ladder too. Pro Ladder is only 10% of player population, it's hard enough on match times with those low numbers, if they were to give us equal rewards (in terms of in game items), more of us would stick to pro ladder, giving newer players a chance to climb in a more forgiving environment on their way to GM.

Easy to beat will they be, you say? Well I wish you to meet some then... And safe method? LOL... And what about 28, 30 or 32 cards decks... That a safe method too?

Oh, I forgot to ask: how does your cousin do? :-)

How many seasons have you played on Pro Ladder?

How many seasons above Rank 19 on Reg. Ladder?

Don't worry, someday you will reach a level where you will understand how to beat cards like Nova.

posted a message on Pro Ladder

K3, some of us don't have the time to play 500 matches in the first week of each pro ladder season. We shouldn't be punished for having lives outside of the game. The amount of games you play has zero correlation to your skill level. I've beaten TailBot this week alone, and he was using Coin Flip Dwarves, I've beaten Adzikov, and others in top 5-10 yet I will never be at the top of the ladder because I have a job and kids.

Players who are good enough to make the pro ladder, but dont have the time to play the obscene amount of matches necessary to be top 8 of 15k players should still be rewarded for effort put in on the pro ladder. If not then pros will continue to litter the reg. ladder because those rewards signify advantages (cards).

Rewards- I think, CDPR would want to minimize the amount of players on the Pro Ladder that continue playing on the regular ladder. I believe that would happen if there was any kind of universal reward system. As it is, less than one percent (much less honestly) of the players on pro ladder in a season get any rewards at all, which is why the regular ladder is cluttered with pro players, and queue times for a match on pro ladder are outrageously long (I've waited half an hour before).

Some suggestions: Offer Avatars, Borders, Titles exclusive to the pro ladder; offer rewards similar to the reg ladder for wins, faction completes (100 games), maybe offer faction rewards for completing 100 games with a faction that are reg ladder rewards (so we don't have to go on reg ladder to earn them), and rewards for position on ladder; make the daily reward system apply to pro ladder (complete X amount of matches, win X amount of matches should apply to Pro Ladder, all daily rewards as well should apply to both ladders).

Playing on the pro ladder is challenging, and enjoyable for the sake of the challenge, but without these kinds of rewards, players will spend their free time playing regular ladder instead, because they actually get rewards to show for their efforts. I think this would solve multiple problems.

If anyone at CDPR sees this, please consider it. Thank you.

There is nobody sacrificing a Silver or Gold card to trick people into thinking they don't run Ciri: Nova, and if there was, they suck, and will be easy to beat.

26 cards is the fail safe method to know. Though honestly, if Ciri Nova is beating you that much, your deck needs help, and wont survive higher ranks.

When did Rank mean that everybody had to play the same decks over and over again? Nekker Arachnid, Nilfgarrd Alchemy, Machine Northern Realms, and the other one.  Spell'atiel. I mean I know I am not playing an optimal deck because my deck is not supported enough. However, I've gotten to Rank 12 with my Whispering Hillock Insectoid deck. Why is there a lack of creativity?

because once you get to the top, the most optimal decks are all you can play to succeed. There is practically no room for error. At Rank 20, all you face is Coin Flip Dwarves. I played them maybe 11 out of 14 games tonight. You can beat them, but if you don't know how, they will destroy you just about everytime. First season ever as a Scoia main that I think they deserve a nerf. Abusing CA like that has to be addressed.

That and handbuff Nilf needs to be nerfed to the ground. People bitched about 1 25 point Ciri Nova last season, in each game Nilf Handbuff can produce 6-8 units higher in power than her. It is completely broken.

posted a message on How about Ps4 and Xbox One?

PS4 player. Agreed that Tracker is terribly unfair/cheating, though I started after closed Beta and am on my 4th pro season, so it can be done without it, and on a console. I agree though that to be at the top of the ladder most of your plays run the clock down because of the things stated (checking graveyards, counting, doing the things manually that the cheaters get for free), especially rank 18 and up. Despite that I've been minimum rank 19 for 7 straight seasons on reg ladder counting current season, so it can be done. Just takes way more effort than PC players put in.

Agreed though that CDPR gives console players the extreme short end of the stick.
