posted a message on Should deck restrictions be relaxed?

I dont think thats a good idea, and i dont think it'd promote deck diversity. Imho, limitations are what promote diversity, for example you prefer to run crones with your deck which takes 3 slots out of the 6, and i prefer to take 3 other silvers and cut crones. If we both had 9 slots for example in silvers, we'd all run crones. Same logic applies for golds. You can run succubus/caretaker/kayran/woodlandspirit, and i prefer to run woodlandspirit/kayran/renew/ge'els. If we had lets say, 6 gold slots instead of the 4 we have now, you'd most likely put in a renew and something else, and i'd definately put in caretaker and succubus or gold weathers. So eventually nobody would have to cut anything, and they'd all take all the strong cards in their decks, instead of deciding what to cut now.

ps. Obviously, netdecking is a huge problem for diversity since people just copy paste decks instead of creating their own.

See I do not see at all what you guys see. Playing 4 to 5 matches today of both casual and ranked, and my ore hasn't budged from 50 this whole entire time. How are you guys getting this much ore, scraps, and dust? Because I am getting zilch.

Did you even read any post here? Im pretty confident you're straight up lying or trolling at this point.
We told you like a million times, it doesnt matter how many matches you play, you need to win rounds, nobody cares how many matches you played, you could play a million matches, and get no rewards because you lost all of them 2-0
And just saying my ore hasnt budged, means nothing, if you claim that you're completing the daily quests and you're not receiving the reward, take it up to the support team of CDPR. If thats not the case, it means you didnt win 6 rounds. There are literally no other options here. You either won 6 rounds and you didnt get the reward, which means this thread is useless, or you didnt win them and you're lying/trolling. Take your pick.

Yes, it really is an exaggeration. I don't know how many hours your days have, but mine consist of 24. And I wouldn't consider playing 45 games (which, as you pointed out, is the best case scenario) be casual gaming anymore. The most efficient way in terms of rewards/invested time is sticking to the 6/18 rounds per day. And as I already stated this is pretty darn generous of CDPR. End of story.
Wait what just happened? First of all, im on your side, i think its super generous and to complain about it is like blasphemy.
But Im stating the exact numbers of the rewards you're gaining from the dailies. As i said in the following post from the one you quoted.
Im not taking into consideration the amount of time each individual is willing or capable to invest, im just saying that the rewards are there.
Did i miss something? Are we discussing if the rewards are too low or are we discussing if it takes too much time? (which i dont think it does)

Well that seems a bit exaggerated... minimum of 4 kegs daily? If you don't include leveling/ranked rewards it is rather a minimum of 1 keg daily (if you are willing to invest 30-60mins daily)
Is it tho? is it really an exaggeration?
    6rounds  : 100 ore
    12rounds : 75 ore
    24rounds: 50 ore
    48rounds: 25 ore

Now thats 250 ore, assuming the best case scenario for your winrate, and the worst case scenario for the ore gathering, and you won all those games without losing a single one, which is 45 games. Now lets say its a 50% chance to get ore as a reward when the opponent says GG, thats 100 more ore, for a total of 350 ore by doing the dailies. And im not taking into consideration any rank/level rewards.

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about when you say that this game isn't generous enough with its ore, you literally open a MINIMUM of 4 kegs daily, just by doing the daily quests which is based on ROUNDS and NOT wins like every other game (combined with the GG ore reward when opponent say GG). I've been playing gwent for 2-3 months now, i've been doing all of the dailies most of this time, and im missing like 15 cards? from the entire collection, this is by lightyears the most generous game i've played, ever.

posted a message on CDPR Doesn't want auto include cards Enter Hailstorm

Ok, dont get this the wrong way but, if that guy lost due to a 50point hailstorm, it means he had 100 power on that row, now assuming you are indeed truthfull on your statement and he actually had good row distribution, it means that on the other 2 rows, he had about 75-99 power in each, correct? Now did it ever cross his mind to use any of that ~300 power on a previous round and just bait your hailstorm in round1 and then just overpower you on the other 2 rounds? How is it possible that he has a 300power potential deck, and he decides to bet it all in a single round. Whos fault is that? Is it really hailstorms?

While i somewhat agree that hailstorm is broken at this current meta and it's like the first card you pick right after the leader when you make any deck. I still believe its easily counterable, just bleed out the opponent in round1 or 2, and it becomes a dead card at round3, and to be fair, if you know that theres a hailstorm meta going on, and you still go in round3 with 9 cards and no ability to move around your own units to dodge it, it kinda is your fault...

Also, im not quite sure on this but, correct me if im wrong, has hailstorm been changed since the release of the game? Isn't it the exact same card? Whats with the current hate all of a sudden towards it.

Previous season people hated on scorch for the exact same reason because it had no requirement, and it had unlimited potential, it could do anything from 1 to 500 point damage, especially when there was a triss butterfly meta going on. And with the current spellatel decks going around atm, im pretty sure scorch will resurface once more. Then people will complain that they cant play their blathana protectors round3 because they'll lose everything to a single card.

Finally, i'd love it personally if hailstorm was nerfed to have a maximum damage dealt, for example if you have 100 power on that row, it deals 30 damage, if you have 50power, it deals 25. So basically still deals 50% of each unit, but it should have a ceiling of something about 30.

posted a message on [Balancing] Gwent is now a one round game. (Weather is back.)

Ok, first of all, let's just clarify couple things.
Nobody claims, that you'd have a guaranteed win if you had bled him out in round 1 instead of dry passing, all we're saying is that you'd have much better odds, and i'll explain why below.
    a) Nobody forced you out of round 1, your very first action in that game was to mulligan Gremist. Literally, the very first action, it's not his fault, or our fault, if you saw the enemy faction leader and thought "well, doubt hes got any weathers, so i'll just mulligan this away" im not saying i wouldnt either, im just pointing out the fact that you mulliganed away your clear weather card, so you cant blame that on how strong the gold weather is.
You said that we're talking after the fact that we saw the outcome of the game, and how it was played, but so do you. You don't know what the outcome of the game would be had you not mulliganed Gremist, or dry passed round 1.

    b) Nobody is arguing the fact that hailstorm is super strong at the current meta, but hailstorm has been the exact same card since the beginning of the game (unless im missing something?) and it's almost in 99% of the decks atm, but if hailstorm didnt exist, his deck wouldnt exist either, so those 2 are linked in this case. His entire deck is designed to move your units into a hailstorm.
    c) About your -6 argument on weather in round 1. It's not -6 each turn and you know it, and you should stop repeating that, you don't get hit in rows you dont have units at, obviously, and you only lose -2 in the rows you have units at. And your first 2-3 turns would be Veterans in middle row, so you'd only lose -2 each turn for the first 3 turns, then he'd have to move around your units to damage them, and that means he wouldnt have all those move around units, at round 3.
    d) His hailstorm did 63 damage. If you had play round 1, he'd have considerably less because he'd use his units in round 1 to move your units around. Units which power would be missing in round 3. If for example you had gone in round 3 with 2-3 cards each. His hailstorm would be almost useless, because you'd outpower him by way too much. In round 3, you were ahead before he played hailstorm by 11 points, and a 22power card in your hand, even after he dealt 6 damage with his marksmen almost every single turn to a unit he moved. Which means, The -6 damage you complain about in round1, wouldn't have been enough to win him the round, without the hailstorm, and if he had used hailstorm in round1, he wouldnt have anything left as a win condition other than just raw stats, because he only has one hailstorm. And most likely, he'd have to play it in round 2 if you had won round 1 and pushed round 2.
    e) You said that without knowing his win condition, you'd be mad to push round 1, so does that mean that whoever plays a gold weather round1, the other guy should instantly pass? His win condition is irrelevant, your deck isnt a control deck, its a tempo/beatdown deck, the only cards that you have to affect the enemy board is what, 2 corals? So what does it matter what his win condition is, if you cant disrupt it anyway?
    f) You said that bleeding him cards in round 1 wouldnt change anything as long as he had hailstorm in round3, he wouldnt be able to get a 63 damage hailstorm because he wouldnt be able to move 99% of your units in a single row.
And if as you say you didnt know his win condition, so you'd be mad to play round 1. Then isn't it logical if i ask the question "if you didn't know his deck/win condition, why did you mulligan gremist?"
And as for the "what would it change if you had pushed round 1", the short version is that, his hailstorm would deal about 25-30 damage total.
Im playing a similar deck like yours, and i dont recall being hit by a bigger hailstorm than 30-35, and thats just couple times out of the hundreds of games i've played.
And finally, your argument that "2 factions went into round 3 equal cards, one destroyed the other" and thats not balanced, is quite frankly, hilariously wrong, and obviously i understand that you're tilted, or simply lacking experience, and im not trying to dish you here, im saying this as friendly as possible. He didn't decimate you because his deck is inbalanced, or hailstorm is super overpowered (which it is, but hailstorm isnt the actual reason you lost this game, dry passing round 1 when you have a recycle deck is)
He could LITERALLY have the exact same deck without hailstorm, but with scorch, and just leave your pirate captains unnaffected, and just scorch you for 66 damage as his last card, you'd actually lose 3 power more than his hailstorm. See my point?
edit: how the hell do i quote lol :D

Dude you dry passed round 1 instead of bleeding him out of his combo, you basically signed your own death certificate the moment you let him go into round3 with every single card of his combo, AND hailstorm. The power of your deck is that you have incredible bleed potential because of the huge units you throw on the board, only to get ressurected later on, you did none of that when you dry pass round 1, the moment you gave him round 1 with no losses, it was certain you'd lose round3, you have nothing to interact with his board other than the corals, and his entire deck is designed for that one hailstorm.
