posted a message on Ranked and Homecoming changes

    Hi everyone

Since the announcement of Homecoming, I saw that a lot of changes in the game are going to happen. As such, do you think that it is worth to continue to play ranked for now ?

I mean, can we expect getting the rewards anyway ?

And what about the cards ? I think that we'll lost our collection (tell me if I'm wrong) and get scraps, so we'll have to craft everything again isn't it ? And what about Meteorite Powder ?

Sorry if those questions had already been answered.

posted a message on Opponent connection lost

That's weird then, I don't know why it takes so much time to quit the game. I just got the same "opponent connection lost" 20 minutes ago and it takes 1 or 2 minutes to quit the game.

    Try to reach CDPR maybe!

posted a message on Opponent connection lost

I faced that a long time ago, when the servers was facing many problems, but for now it seems like the situation is far better. When I have this kind of message, it usually take 1 minute to get a win because of the connection lost of my opponent.

Are you sure your connection is alright ? Because it seems long enough to think that maybe you are the one who lost it first.

posted a message on Need advice on my Harald deck

Thank you ! I just did everything you said and it goes so well ! I'm actually rank 15, I'm planning to go back to my former rank which was 18 and then see when this deck and my other decks leads me !

I've watch the video of FreddyBabes, I used to watch swim but I guess FreddyBabes is also full of great advices. I am now sure about how to use spies and how goes the flipcoin with this deck, and I have to admit that this is really helpful for winning.

Again, thank you, you helped me a lot !

posted a message on Need advice on my Harald deck

Thank you very much for your advices and help ! I did some modifications on my deck and I have it this way now. What do you think ?

I think I will try on casual first, to see how it goes and if I'm comfortable with it.

Do you think playing Uldaryk is better on round 2 or 3 ? because I'm always scared to give my opponent to much point that will lead me to loose the game.

And with Axeman, what about the flipcoin ? Do I have to win the first round ?

posted a message on Need advice on my Harald deck

    Hi everyone.

Sorry for the mistakes I'm not native.

I just went back on Gwent since a long absence, and after checking decks on GwentDB I found an Harald deck that seems good to me. I tested it, and I made some modifications but I feel like my deck, as it is right now, is not balanced enough. So I went here to get some advices and help, I'll be really happy to hear back from you about it !

Know that I'm open to every suggestion you can make, and if my deck is really bad, don't be afraid to tell me why. I want to improve my deck building skills.

posted a message on Maybe some of you can help me ?

First, thank you to all of us for answering me. You are really kind, and I appreciate that you take time to help me !

MrCain : You helped me a lot, I understand the importance of learning from mistakes. Concerning the Pro Ladder I see  that it's not as "pro" as it seems I guess. I will do my best to enter, and I assume that I need some time. I usually try to understand what my opponent play and how. This helped me a lot, I try to analyse other people decks as well.

kid_schnitte : I have two deck for now (Skellige and NR), both are made by swim. I watch some of his stream and videos and I learn a lot of things from him. I admit that I don't feel confident enough to think that a deck made by me could be good enough to win, I'll try to make a change about that and try new things. But, I totally agree with the fact that I first need to be a good player before being a good deckbuilder. I will focus on other streamer, and other guide to discover a different way of playing. As I said just before, I will try to learn from my mistakes. I misplay sometimes, like most of us I think. But still, I will do it step by step. :)

ferdek3 : I try to play as much as I could but since I'm a student I don't have time everyday. I feel like the way I play has changed through time, so I guess it could be even better ! I put a lot of effort in Gwent, and I'm not afraid of putting time in it so I'm ready to play, play and play. About the pass I saw that it was really important to know how to pass, and I will focus on that by now because I feel like I don't pass good. When I don't know what deck plays my opponent I tend to be a bit lost or stressed, and I don't play as well as I could, I feel like in this kind of situation it's hard for me to concentrate.

Saber97 : I think it will take some times to totally pilot all meta decks, but it's certainly a good way to be one of the best player. Maybe I'll be as good as that someday aha !

posted a message on Maybe some of you can help me ?

Hi there ! I'm new on GwentDB and it's a pleasure to be here !

First, I'm sorry if you notice some mistakes, I'm not an english native speaker, but I'll do my best. :)

I registered to share my love for Gwent and because I have some questions to ask you. First, the rank. Are they really revealant ? I mean, is a 13 rank player is good ? Average ? I have the feeling that it's easy to get rank on Gwent, that's why I ask you this question.

Seconde question, have you some advice to give to someone who begin Gwent ? It's not my case, but still, I would like to know if I make recurring mistake.

And last but not least, have you some advice to give to someone who want to enter the Pro Ladder ? What are the meta deck ? Is there any meta ? What are the pro and the cons of the Pro Ladder ? Is it really revealant of the talent of a player ? I admit that I'm a bit lost with that part of the game. That's why I'm here to get some answer.

I hope I'm not a bother, and thank you if you answer me !

Know that I'm also open to speak or play with someone, to learn more about Gwent :)
