Celebrate Midinváerne with GWENT’s holiday recipes!

  • Emhyr var Emreis was very pleased with the Challenger tournament which took place last weekend in his castle, and decided to share with us recipes for some of his favourite Midwinter desserts from around the world.

    We didn’t have much choice but to show them to you as well… so we teamed up with Nerd's Kitchen and got down to work – here is the first one!

    Part 1: White Flame

    Full list of ingredients:
    130 G cream cheese
    1/3 CUP powdered sugar
    3 TBSP lemon juice
    fresh lemon peel
    1/2 CUP heavy cream
    1/4 TSP cardamon (optional)
    fresh blueberries

    100 G gingerbread cookies
    1/4 CUP red wine
    1/3 CUP heavy cream
    100 G dark chocolate
    dried cranberries
    coconut shreds

    3/4 CUP wheat flour
    1/2 TSP baking powder
    1/4 TSP salt
    1 & 1/2 CUP mountain oat flakes
    60 G nuts
    2 TBSP honey

    Tried out White Flame (using frozen blueberries, because the only other option were cultivated, imported ones)... didn't turn out like in the video. But hey, at least it looks just as homemade as it is!
